NY Cowboys defeat Mavericks to become USPL 2024 Champions🏆
The New York Cowboys @new_york_cowboys were crowned 2024 USPL @uspremierleague__ Champions as they defeated the Maryland Mavericks in the final – and successfully defended their 2023 title.
This came after their very slow start to their 2-3 season.
They barely squeaked into the 4th place spot by NRR.
It was a team effort in the final. Bowling attack led by wicket takers Captain Jake Lintott, Zia Shahzad, Usman Khan and Parveen Kumar held the Mavericks to 144-6.
The batters then cruised to a 17 wicket victory with 14 balls to spare. Key strikes came from: Dilpreet Singh Bajwa, Tajinder Singh Dhillon, Joshua Tromp, and Naushad Shaikh.
