USA Cricket has named its squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier in Argentina (March 7-18), competing against Canada, Brazil, and Argentina for a spot in the 2026 Global Qualifier.
Anika Kolan will captain the team, with Aditi Chudasama as vice-captain. UK-based Ella Claridge and Tara Norris join the squad, while Bhakti Shastri earns her first call-up. Chetnaa Prasad and Maahi Madhavan return after strong U19 World Cup performances.

The 6-strong bowling attack held it down first, restricting Oman to 123. 5 took wickets: Juanoy Drysdale (3), Ali Sheikh (2), Stephen Wiig (2), Milind Kumar (1), and Nosh Kenjige (1).
On the other end, it took 4 USA batters and 15 overs to finish the job. Milind Kumar had a spectacular undefeated half-century (56* off 38 with 7 boundaries), Andries Gous was 31 off 21, Aaron Jones was 20* off 21, and Saiteja Mukkamalla was 19 off 11.

Chasing Oman’s solid total of 190/5, Mukkamalla’s explosive innings, featuring seven sixes and seven fours, anchored the successful pursuit.
He had a strong partnership at the end with Aaron Jones @aaronjones_85 (25* off 14), and earlier with Monank Patel @monank15 (27 off 22), and Andries Gous @gousie08 (28 off 21), whose crucial knocks kept the chase on track.

Team USA-M turned in a historic performance on Tuesday against Oman — successfully defending the lowest total ever in a full 50-over ODI, thanks to spin bowling brilliance. 🏏🇺🇲
Batting first, their innings looked like a total collapse until Player of the Match Milind Kumar stepped in and with his undefeated 47 off 82, helped salvage a total of 122 all out.
Then the USA responded to Oman’s all-spin attack with one of their own.
